New Trailer for Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time Shows Off Some Amazing Visuals

Disney owns box office powerhouses like Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios, but they still pump out movies under the Disney brand as well. This March will see the live-action adaptation for A Wrinkle in Time, and we have a new trailer to hype up the release of the movie.

Check it out:

Here's the official synopsis for the movie:

Meg Murry and her little brother, Charles Wallace, have been without their scientist father, Mr. Murry, for five years, ever since he discovered a new planet and used the concept known as a tesseract to travel there. Joined by Meg's classmate Calvin O'Keefe and guided by the three mysterious astral travelers known as Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which, the children brave a dangerous journey to a planet that possesses all of the evil in the universe.

To those who don't know, A Wrinkle in Time is actually an adaptation of a classic sci-fi novel of the same name by Madeleine L'Engle. The book came out way back in the 60s, and it should be pretty interesting to see the film with some updated visuals; not to mention an all-star cast.

Besides Oprah Winfrey, you have the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, and Zach Galifianakis. Michael Pena also looks like an amazing villain, and I'm sure Chris Pine will play a fine Dr. Wallace. As for the child actors, Storm Reid, Deric McCabe, and Levi Miller look like they can handle the film.

A Wrinkle in Time comes out March 9.
