Alicia Vikander's Tomb Raider movie is set to come out this March, and with that release date so close, you bet that marketing is about to enter full blast soon. A teaser just dropped for an all-new trailer coming tomorrow, and it promises to give us some fresh looks at the movie.

Unlike the Angeline Jolie TR films, this Tomb Raider will be based on the reboot game that came out back in 2013, and will have a huge focus on Lara Croft trying to find out where her father had gone. The movie also promises to bring her to a mythical island off the coast of Japan—a plot very similar to the rebooted game.

Here's the official synopsis:

Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished years earlier. Hoping to solve the mystery of her father's disappearance, Croft embarks on a perilous journey to his last-known destination -- a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. The stakes couldn't be higher as Lara must rely on her sharp mind, blind faith and stubborn spirit to venture into the unknown.

Any seasoned movie-goer is going to tell you that video game films never play out the way you want them, but that won't stop Hollywood from milking a potential franchise. After the bombs that were Assassin's Creed and Warcraft, I'm trying to be cautiously excited about the release of this movie.

Best case scenario? The foreign audiences will love it. Warcraft may have bombed domestically, but it made a ton of money in China.

Tomb Raider is set to come out March 16.
