New Star Wars: The Last Jedi Promo Has The Resistance Looking For Luke’s Help

Star Wars: The Last Jedi might be one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year, but Lucasfilm is still making sure that everyone heads down to cinemas to check out their upcoming Star Wars sequel trilogy installment once it hits cinemas next week.

The studio just rolled out a new promo for Star Wars: The Last Jedi today, and while the forty-four-second promo video mostly features behind-the-scenes clips of Daisy Ridley's Rey, the preview also offers a snippet of the Jakku orphan giving Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) a desperate message.

Earlier promo videos of The Last Jedi might show Rey telling Luke that "We need your help," this new video shows a different part of Rey's message where the character says that she's with the Resistance and that she was sent by Leia (Carrie Fisher), Luke's twin sister.

We're pretty sure that Luke's going to answer Rey once he hears that one. Fans have been hoping that The Last Jedi would answer most of the questions that The Force Awakens, and one of the things the fanbase have been hoping to see is a reunion between the Skywalker siblings. We wonder whether Rey mentioning Leia might get Luke to get out of Achc-To.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas December 15, 2017.
