New Star Wars Battlefront II Video Centers On Game's Commander Iden Versio

A lot of people are getting excited for the release of Star Wars Battlefront II, and one of the main reasons is because the game will come with a full campaign mode that focuses on an Imperial soldier. EA has just released a new video delving into the creation of the campaign, and what the story writers were thinking when they came up with the idea.

The story will follow Commander Iden Versio who's family is closely tied with the Empire because of her father's status as an admiral. Like the original Battlefront II, the story will be spanning over two eras — starting with the end of the original trilogy and ending at the beginning of the sequel trilogy.

With all the movies and series following the story of the heroes and the rebellion, Battlefront II has chosen to focus on Versio and her Inferno Squadron; where the aim of the campaign is to tell the story of Star Wars through the eyes of the Imperials.

I'm very excited to see where this is going since the first Battlfront game turned out to be such a rush-job let down. Hopefully, the guys down at DICE have come up with a full story that will satisfy every fan this time around.

Star Wars Battlefront II is set to come out on Nov. 17.
