New Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Image Shows Peter Parker's Other Costumes

In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peter Parker will be 40-years old and has been around for years, making him completely different from previous movie incarnations. He's still a screw-up but Peter is hoping his years as a superhero can help make Miles Morales a better Spider-Man. Seems like the movie will allude to Peter's years as a superhero if this newly unveiled image is anything to go by.

While this new image focuses on Miles admiring the classic red and blue outfit, we also see two other costumes that comic book fans will be familiar with. His Electro-proof suit, which he has used against the classic Steve Ditko-created villain, and the Secret Wars costume that Peter wore during Nick Fury's superpowered Latverian invasion.

Comic book fans might be used to the idea of an older Peter Parker but movie viewers have only gotten used to high school and college versions of the character. Finally seeing a Spidey who is an experienced superhero should be a treat for many, even if he can't pay for his own hamburger.

Peter and Miles won't be alone since they will also be joined by Spider-Gwen aka Ghost Spider, who looks to be the third protagonist. Spider-Ham and a Nicholas Cage-voiced Spider-Man Noir have also been confirmed.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14.
