Series 10 of Doctor Who will officially begin in April 2017, RadioTimes reports. Peter Capaldi himself confirmed the news in the video below:

In the clip, he said that the Christmas Special for the show will happen this year, and that the new Season will start in April. The past couple of Seasons haven't been well-received with fans, with many complaining how the overarching stories were uninspiring. Let's hope that the new Season will give Whovians something to enjoy.
