New Korean Anime Movie Criticized For Ripping Off Spirited Away

There's a new Korean anime movie that looks so much like Hayao Miyazaki's film Spirited Away, and it's called Lost in the Moonlight, which according to the director is far from the Japanese classic at all. A young girl lost in a mystical wonder world with humanoid animals, weird creatures, emotionally-expressive faces, inanimate living things, and a dragon that resembles Haku. I'm not surprised that the number of dislikes are high on its YouTube trailer page. The animation looks nice but it's pretty obvious that it's ripping off Miyazaki's classic.

See the resemblance?
