Square Enix proved to us that a cross between Final Fantasy and Disney movies can actually work, and sixteen years later, everyone is waiting hotly anticipating the release of Kingdom Hearts III. With E3 drops a new trailer, and it showcases most of the new worlds that Sora and friends are going to visit.
Besides the continuation of the entire Kingdom Hearts III storyline, we get a good look at the upcoming worlds and characters that will be coming to the game. We get teases for the worlds of Frozen, Wreck-It Ralph, Monsters Inc., Toy Story, Hercules, and Tangled. Big Hero 6 is also supposed to be a part of that list, but we don't see any hints of it in the trailer.
Fans will also notice how the game manages to recreate certain scenes from the films, except that they've inserted Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the story. Of course, with every new hero also comes villains, and I can't wait to see how Square Enix gives us fights with Disney villains like Mother Gothel and Hades.
It's been a long wait since the second Kingdom Hearts game, and no amount of fillers and remasters can satisfy the fans. Bring on Sora's next adventure!
