New International Black Panther Poster Brings Back T'Challa's Mask

Marvel is going all in with Black Panther promotion, now that the film is only a few months away from release. There were posters released to the public earlier this month, one of which had Chadwick Boseman unmasked while his claws were up. Now a new international poster has been released and is essentially the same poster as the one mentioned above, except this time he has his mask on.

Interestingly enough, the mask actually shows off his eyes, which are usually blocked off when he’s wearing it. The armor itself is different from the one seen in Captain America: Civil War, with a dark blue color scheme that looks pretty sleek. A number of Black Panther armors were seen in the trailer, so this is probably one of the newer ones he will be wearing in the film.

Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther was a breakout star in Captain America: Civil War, winning over comic book fans and casual MCU viewers. The trailers for his solo film have been great and it looks like it will be slightly different from the typical Marvel fare. It looks like it’s going to be a political thriller, similar to the amazing Captain America: Winter Soldier, so that should gain interest from fans.

Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018.
