John Williams recently revealed that he might be leaving Star Wars after Episode IX, which made many fans emotional. Williams' musical score added a ton of atmosphere to the Star Wars films, whether it Empire Strikes Back or Phantom Menace fans were assured with good music.
Interestingly enough, Rian Johnson went to Twitter and revealed that digital buyers of Star Wars: The Last Jedi can gain exclusive access to a music-only version of the film.
According to Johnson, this version of the film removes all of the dialogue and SFX, leaving fans with a silent version of the divisive installment that has Williams' music carry every scene. It's a really neat exclusive for digital buyers and should be a worthwhile investment to those that want to experience the film in a new way.
Fans that want this version of The Last Jedi will have to use their Movies Anywhere app and link it to the account used that bought the film. Unfortunately, this means that the version of the film will be exclusive to US audiences, so here's hoping there's an alternative way other countries can access this without having to resort to piracy.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is available now on digital outlets. The Blu-Ray of the film will be available on May 27.
