Morgan Freeman Issues Apology After Eight Women Accuse Him of Sexual Misconduct

Several Hollywood personalities have fallen under the ace of the #MeToo Movement starting with Harvey Weinstein and moving onto actors like Kevin Spacey and Louie C.K. The latest figure accused of sexual misconduct? The golden voiced Morgan Freeman.

Eight women have reportedly come forward to CNN to expose Freeman of "inappropriate behavior" saying that he had said rude comments about their bodies on the sets of Now You See Me as well as the 2015 film Going in Style.

Even CNN reporter Chloe Melas opened up about how Freeman made her uncomfortable during her pregnancy. During a press junket, Freeman would look at her and say different variations of "I wish I was there."

Freeman has come out with an apology for these accusations. As per Variety, Freeman said:

"Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy… I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent."

Hundreds of people have already come out online to express their devastation. At 80 years-old, Freeman had one of the most distinguished careers in Hollywood. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all ends.
