Mike Myers Still Hoping To Do A Fourth Austin Powers Movie

Though there's been a lot of James Bond spoofs, there hasn't been any Bond parody that's brought in more laughs than Austin Powers film series. Now, it seems like the Austin Powers star Mike Myers is interested in reviving the spy spoof franchise with a fourth film installment.

After playing the part of both Austin and his pinky-pointing nemesis, Dr. Evil, Myers goes on an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to recount his experiences in the Austin Powers film franchise to celebrate the International Man of Mystery's 20th anniversary on May 2. During the interview, Myers talked about his interest in making a fourth Austin Powers movie.

" I would love to do another, but you just have to see. I was devastated by my father's death. But to have that turn into something that makes people happy is unbelievably satisfying. It's that kind of stuff you never get used to or get tired of."

Despite his interest, there's no telling whether fans will actually get a fourth Austin Powers movie any time soon. Despite the financial success of the sequels to the International Man of Mystery with the 1999 The Spy Who Shagged Me and the 2002 Goldmember, previous attempts at making a fourth film in the franchise have all fizzled out. Only time will tell whether a groovy sequel to Gold Member will ever be made.
