It's been quite some time since we last saw Mike Colter's Power Man and Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones cuddling up together after the first season of Jessica Jones. After waking up from the coma Jessica was forced to put him under after finding out the Luke had been mind-controlled by David Tennant's Kilgrave, the Power Man decided to run out of her apartment and go his own way.
Now, with The Defenders setting to have the two work together along with Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Finn Jone's Danny Rand, Colter teases that sparks might fly between the two again.
Speaking during the Comicpalooza's panel for The Defenders (via It's All Connected), Colter talks about the relationship between the two in the upcoming Marvel Netflix superhero team up series.
"I can tease you that there may or may not be something between them. I mean, it's great. You get to see Luke and Jessica together again on screen. Hopefully you'll all be satisfied seeing how it moves to another storyline."
While many expect Jessica and Luke to get back together soon (after all the two are married to each other in the comics), others are pretty skeptical that romance would bud in The Defenders. After getting together in his own Netflix series, Luke is still currently involved with Marvel's night nurse played by Rosario Dawson, Claire Temple. Photos and clips from The Defenders trailer have shown that the two are growing strong, so many might wonder how Jessica and Luke would reunite. It'll definitely be interesting to see.
