Marvel’s Inhumans New Details & Airdate Released

ABC is ready to bring Marvel's royal family to TV screens. This fall, Marvel's Inhumans will debut on a Friday 9 p.m. timeslot, completing the fantasy block started by Once Upon a Time an hour earlier.

Apart from confirming the airtime, Entertainment Weekly also released a new log line, which confirms a few of the plotlines for the show.

"Marvel's Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself."

The Friday timeslot is part of ABC's new strategy for Friday viewing. Even if Marvel's Inhumans will end after eight episodes, it will be replaced by another superhero rumble via Agents of SHIELD.

Marvel's Inhumans will arrive first in IMAX on Sept. 1. Two weeks after, ABC will air the series. It stars Anson Mount, Iwan Rheon, Serinda Swan, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ken Leung, Ellen Woglom, Sonya Balmores, and Mike Moh.
