Marvel's Incredible Hulk Getting 4K Ultra HD Home Release

It looks like fans with 4K televisions will be able to enjoy Marvel's The Incredible Hulk film in that stunning resolution. While the film is often seen as one of the weaker installments, it is still a big part of the MCU, introducing Bruce Banner (then played by Edward Norton), Thunderbolt Ross, and the second post-credit Marvel film that had Robert Downey Jr reprising his role as Tony Stark.

The Digital Bits states that this Blu-Ray release will come in April, with a re-release of the older Blu-Ray planned this month as part of the MCU 10-year anniversary. While both Marvel and Universal haven't confirmed the 4K release, it's definitely not impossible. If true, this would be the first MCU catalog title to get the treatment, with previous 4K Marvel releases often coming out after the film's cinematic run.

Should this come true and be successful, we could be getting more of these catalog 4K releases afterward. Fans would love to see films like The Avengers in 4K and Guardians of the Galaxy in 4K, so let's hope that this release does well. It might even get Universal to make a deal with Marvel about releasing a solo Hulk film but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Hulk will be seen in May's Avengers: Infinity War and the still-unnamed Infinity War sequel on May 3, 2019.
