Marvel's Call for Extras Teases Scenes for Avengers and Black Panther

Marvel Entertainment's simple call for extras in Atlanta has sparked speculation on future scenes that could be shot for the two movies which will soon film in the state: Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther. The two blockbuster films are scheduled to film at the Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayetteville, Georgia. Black Panther, directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Chadwick Bosewick, will take place on February 7-9 and then February 13-15. Avengers: Infinity War, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and starring the biggest superhero ensemble cast ever assembled, will follow from March 31-April 7.

According to the Comic Book Resources report, Avengers: Infinity War needs a lot of men and women ages 18-50 from various ethnic backgrounds. It was the description of the men in the call sheet that triggered fan theories: they should have long hair and beards, not scared of blood, and can handle special effects. It led fans to ask: will Asgardians join their brother Thor in the epic conflict?

Black Panther's callout needed Asian men and women from ages 18-85 who would be cast as wealthy people, card dealers, a hostess, and a bartender at "a very nice event." One obvious potential scene would be a glamorous, crowd-filled casino.

These are all theories, and all eyes will be turned to Atlanta in the weeks to follow. It wouldn't be surprising if spoiler photos came out of the area, despite Marvel's best attempts to put a lid on its movies.
