Marvel Writer Donny Cates Apologizes to Fans For Death of the Inhumans

Donny Cates has been Marvel's biggest star in recent memory, thanks to a really memorable run with the Thanos comic. His Venom run has also gained critical acclaim and we're only three issues in, showing how much talent he has. This week is a big one for him as well with two new Marvel mini-series from him coming out; Cosmic Ghost Rider and Death of the Inhumans.

While everyone is excited to see what he does, the writer has apologized in advance for some of the things he will be doing in Death of the Inhumans.

Speaking with Newsarama, Cates couldn't reveal much about the mini-series but did state that the "death" in the title isn't just a metaphor. Some details were given, like how it's a small story that focuses on the royal family. Major characters like Black Bolt, Medusa, and Crystal will be central to the story, along with new villain Vox, who seems to be causing all of these deaths.

Apparently, there will also be a few surprising cameos that will surprise fans but this is going to be a very grim story. Cates even said that Lockjaw isn't safe and everyone loves that Inhuman doggo.

Death of the Inhumans comes out this week, written by Donny Cates and drawn by Ariel Olivetti.
