Marvel Studios Editor Compares Spider-Man: Far from Home to Homecoming

Dan Lebental has worked with Marvel Studios for a longtime, and with Ant-Man and the Wasp coming out in cinemas today, he's gearing up for work on Spider-Man: Far from Home. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Lebental compares the sequel to the hit first movie, Homecoming.

Lebental explains:

"I can't say much about the new Spider-Man, but I will offer up that it will be both grander in scale and even funnier than the last one. The rest of the story will have to wait."

From what people can piece together online, Far from Home will have Peter Parker going on vacation in Europe, and it will also have special effects master Mysterio as the villain. It's also said that Michael Keaton will make an appearance as well—possibly hinting that we're going to have the Sinister Six form in the future.

Besides that, we don't really know what happens. We're still curious on how the film is going to bring everyone back to life, but seeing that Peter Parker looks fine in the leaked set photos, Spider-Man is going to turn out fine.

It may be a while before we get Spider-Man: Far from Home in cinemas, but you can check out the MCU's other bug-based heroes in Ant-Man and the Wasp in theaters now.
