A new synopsis has reportedly been revealed for Marvel's Doctor Strange, and it sums up the origin story of Stephen Strange Benedict Cumberbatch), a.k.a. The Sorcerer Supreme, as also shares a description of the character's power set and role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel's Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
Like most synopsis, this doesn't reveal anything about the character that most of us didn't know. We're expecting a unique kind of Marvel film like no other. Even star Mads Mikkelsen said that it will have a "unique flavor".
Doctor Strange star Scott Adkins also said that the film will feature horror elements. I'm looking forward to see how the metaphysical elements will create a unique experience on the big screen.
The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton
