Marvel Releases 2018’s Black Panther & Avengers: Infinity War Synopses
Now that we know a little more about Thor: Ragnarok and Loki’s potential role in the whole thing, Marvel Studios seem ready for fans to get a bit more gist of its upcoming stories in 2018. We finally get a little more idea on where Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War will be for movies next year.
“After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. when two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.”
Black Panther sounds just as interesting, because it seems like a movie of contrasts—isolation and technological advancement, fight and attempt for peace—with all of that looking grounded on reality.
Finally, we have the synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War:
“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows; Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment—the fate of the Erath and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
This synopsis is vaguer, because we don’t really know the context where we’ll be meeting our heroes. We don’t even know how Thanos will come about in the story and just how he’ll end up with the six Infinity Stones. Still, 2018 is looking pretty badass with the Marvel movies.
