Marvel Studios used to be known for announcing the release dates and titles of its upcoming movies years ahead of the film's scheduled premieres, but it seems like the team behind Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 have been holding on to the official title of the second installment in the two-part Avengers movie.

Even though Avengers 4 has long since gone into production, the film's title remains under lock and key, fueling speculation online that the title might actually be a spoiler for Infinity War.

Speaking with Screen Rant, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked how spoiler-y the title of Avengers 4 really was and whether fans would have to sit back and wait until the release of Infinity War to get the title to the film.

Feige's response seemed to come from a diplomatic studio head, placing his answer on the middle ground.

"Yeah, I think some of that has been blown out of proportion," the Marvel bigwig said. "We do want the focus to be on Infinity War for now."

Though Feige's answer seems to imply that some of the title could actually spoil Infinity War, his response also seems to hint that the reason that a Marvel's holding onto the tile is so that they can concentrate on Infinity War. Let's just wait and see what happens.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres May 4, 2018, while Avengers 4 hits cinemas the year after on May 3, 2019.
