Marvel One-Shots Are Making A Comeback!

Back in the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we used to get "One-shots"— 10-minute videos showcasing side characters like Phil Coulson, Agent Peggy Carter, or even Ben Kingsley's fake Mandarin from Iron Man 3. The one with Ben Kingsley seemed to be the last one we got, but Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland says Marvel One-shots might be making a comeback.

During an interview with Uproxx, Holland opened up about wanting to do a team-up with Ant-Man, and if Ant-Man couldn't be in the movie, he'd be fine working with Paul Rudd in a short video. When it was mentioned that Marvel used to do One-shots, Holland replied:

"Yeah. I think they are planning on doing it again. I probably spoiled a big spoiler. Kevin Feige's probably going to be furious."

Some of these One-shots can range from passable to downright amazing. The last one that came out, All Hail the King, confirmed that there is an actual Mandarin in the MCU, and not just the fake character created by Aldrich Killian. That one came out back in 2014, and we haven't gotten an update since.

I would absolutely love to see the One-shots come back since they are a ton of fun. They're like the Pixar short films that come right before the movie.

Also, I really want to know what happened to Trevor Slattery after the actual Ten Rings abducted him.

Hopefully we get a Marvel One-shot released before Avengers: Infinity War which comes out May 4, 2018.
