Marvel Netflix’s Heroes Come Together In Full Trailer For The Defenders

It's finally here! After months of teasers and speculation, we finally get a full trailer for Netflix's The Defenders, and it looks amazing. August can't come fast enough.

For one, I really like how all the characters come and meet each other for the first time. It's the same feeling that you get when you see Iron Man and Thor meet in The Avengers. I'm very excited to see how all of them will play off of each other, especially since all of them are more used to working alone.

We get to see the wonderful Sigourney Weaver in full-on villain mode, and there's also a fun clip where Iron Fist punches Luke Cage in the face — a fun callback from the moment in Luke Cage where a guy breaks his hand punching Luke in the face.

The return of Elektra is also teased, and I think it's her that we see near the end of the clip where all the Defenders come together (she's in red). By the looks of it, we'll also be getting a one-take hallway fight scene — but this time, with all the heroes.

Marvel's The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

The Defenders airs on Netflix Aug. 18.
