Marvel Legend Stan Lee Has 50 New Superheroes With Never-Before-Seen Superpowers

Stan Lee might already have quite a number of popular superheroes in his roster, however the legendary comicbook creator isn't ready to retire just yet. Not only does Stan Lee continue to actively participate in comic book conventions and in multiple cameos in the big and small screen, but it seems like the comicbook writer is still cooking up superhero characters with brand new superpowers that he claims the world has never seen.

Speaking in an interview with Variety this week after the handprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, Stan Lee spilled the beans about the 50 new superheroes that he's secretly developed.

"I have about 50 [characters] that I've already developed that I haven't shown to anybody," he said. "And someday I will. But, there's no need for me, really, to do anymore now... One of them [the characters] has a superpower that you've never seen before. They all have new superpowers, but I can't tell you. I'm sorry!"

That's a lot of superheroes and though there's no word whether the world will be seeing these new heroes in comics any time soon, it's exciting to hear that the Marvel Legend is still busy designing new characters for fans. Stan the Man is a household name and we're sure that whatever hero he's made (and we're really curious what these "never before seen" superpowers could be) would make a pretty good impression with fans. Stan Lee is the picture of comicbook productivity and we can't wait to see him make his cameo appearance in this year's Thor: Ragnarok.

Thor: Ragnarok premieres on November 3, 2017.
