Marvel Cancels 11 Comics Following Labor Day Sale

Were you able to get some good issues during the Labor Day Sale that Marvel Digital Comics Shop? Hopefully you did, because it seems that some of those comics will be cancelled.

Marvel has already sent email notifications to subscription holders of the titles that will be cancelled, as posted by one Redditor. The list of changes to some Marvel subscriptions can be seen below:

All-New All Different Avengers --> Avengers
Agents of SHIELD --> U.S. Avengers
Carnage --> Venom
Contest of Champions --> Champions
Guardians of Infinity --> Guardians of the Galaxy
Hyperion --> Squadron Supreme
Nighthawk --> Occupy Avengers
Rocket Raccoon & Groot --> Guardians of the Galaxy
Starbrand and Nightmask --> Champions
Venom Space Knight --> Venom
Vision --> Champions

What this means is that subscriptions for the cancelled series will be replaced by other related titles. Sales may not be going as well as hoped, even with something like the Labor Day Sale.

But considering the brand's planned relaunch this fall with Marvel NOW!, this may not really come as a surprise. There are also new launches expected for Marvel, including the villain-focused story of Thanos, Jessica Jones, and Captain Marvel, to name a few.

Let's not forget that Marvel will also be launching its STEAM variant covers for some titles, in support and influence of the young generation pursuing their passion in specific fields.
