Marvel And IMAX Celebrate 10 Years Together Ahead Of Avengers: Infinity War With New Video

Ahead of Avengers: Infinity War's big premiere, IMAX has decided to release a brand new preview celebrating the company's 10 year relationship with Marvel.

Posting a new video on its YouTube Channel, IMAX shared a video mixing together clips from taken from various Marvel Movies including Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Dark World, Avengers: Civil War and a whole lot more.

The video also includes clips where the various directors and cast members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe talk about using IMAX in their films.

"IMAX up close is the greatest thing ever," gushes Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson. "Because the frame disappears."

"It's like a TV screen smashed into your face," says Ragnarok director Taika Waititi.

Black Panther which is currently continuing its theatrical run in cinemas has also been screened on IMAX, and it looks like Marvel's been working to bring fans a new IMAX experience with Avengers: Infinity War. According to the video, Avengers: Infinity War is the first ever Hollywood film to be shot with IMAX camera and "exclusively in IMAX theatres, Avengers: Infinity War will be presented in an expanded IMAX 1.9:1 aspect ratio – offering moviegoers up to 26% more of the image than standard theatres for a truly immersive experience."

That sounds like a pretty big deal – but then again, it's going to be a pretty big fight with more than 60 characters coming together to join the Avenger's battle against the Mad Titan Thanos.

We can't wait to see Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
