Mark Your Calendars for Attack on Titan Toonami Marathon

The second season of Attack on Titan has been a long time coming—so naturally, it deserves sometime on air.

Toonami knows how to celebrate its return to TV with the anime's second season, as it just announced a marathon for the first few episodes of Attack on Titan. This will happen during the July 4th weekend, so if you don't have any other plans, this is a great way to spend it.

The marathon won't cover the most recent episodes just released, but it will cover enough reveals that will deliver a shock to your system if you haven't been following the manga or seen the new season.

Attack on Titan's marathon lineup of episodes does justice, at least enough to whet your appetite and continue if you've already stopped watching following the four years' worth of hiatus. As someone who had been waiting patiently for the second season, every episode has delivered, animation and story-wise—I'd even go so far as to say that it may have delivered too much for the first episode alone.

It's nice to see that even after how many years have passed, the animation team still knows how to handle the cliffhangers and the story's pace, without (hopefully) running out of material to animate. And believe me, get ready for a lot of those cliffhangers.

Attack on Titan airs every Sundays in Japan.
