Mark Millar Wants Chris Pratt And Chris Hemsworth To Play The Leads For Chrononauts

Mark Millar is my absolute favorite comic book writer. He's responsible for gems like Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Marvel's Civil War, and Old Man Logan. It looks like Hollywood is banking on another one of his books, Chrononauts, and Millar has an idea for who would be perfect as the leads.

Millar had posted a bunch of tweets on his account recently about the movie being in the works a few years ago:

Though the film may not be in production now, I'm pretty sure a lot of audiences would line up to see a movie starring both Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth. Seeing that comedy is a huge factor for the Chrononauts comic, the two Chrises already have their comedy timing down pat, and with Mark Millar backing up the story, it's sure to be one heck of a ride.

As of now, the two are probably busy at work with Avengers: Infinity War, so having the two of them star in an action comedy about time travellers may actually take a while to get into production. There's also the fact that Pratt also has the Jurassic World franchise to deal with, so he could be pretty busy.

Just thinking about Hemsworth and Pratt starring in a movie is making me excited! Hopefully the studio finds a way to get the actors on board. Then again, if the script is good, I bet the production can still move forward even without the two Marvel actors. Either way, I'm looking forward to Chrononauts — if it ever happens.
