We already know that Mark Hamill's role as Luke Skywalker will be larger in Star Wars: Episode VIII than it was in The Force Awakens. It will probably take months before we see actual footage of the Master Jedi in action, but Hamill tweeted a photo from the set today, showing off his visitor (his daughter's dog).
