Mark Hamill Trolls Fans With John Boyega Birthday Greeting

Mark Hamill isn't one to shy away from social media, especially Twitter. He's been known to use the platform to tease fans about his upcoming Star Wars films and address sexuality issues about Luke Skywalker. Now, he's using Twitter to greet a Force Awakens co-star a "happy birthday" as well as troll fans.

On Thursday, Force Awakens actor John Boyega celebrated his 24th birthday. As a greeting, Hamill took to Twitter while also hinting at Boyega's character in the space opera series, Finn, describing the former stormtrooper as "SONsational."

Take a look:

It appears that the 64-year-old actor is having fun making Star Wars references after keeping mum about Episode VII for a long time. Well, he isn't slowing down now. Just last week, Hamill also teased fans about Rey being his long lost daughter after Ridley commented to a body-shamer's post about her character in The Force Awakens.

Of course, the question now is, are his Tweets to be believed? He did hashtag "#Troll" so it's safe to say the actor is simply poking fun at fans. Obviously, his Boyega tweet is just a joke since Finn can't be his on-screen son in the eighth film. As for Rey, I can't say I completely ignore the possibility of her being Luke's daughter.

Meanwhile, Ridley also greeted Boyega a happy birthday via Instagram:

I can't wait to see the three hopefully together in one scene when Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
