A number of Star Wars fans might not be too fond of Kelly Marie Tran's Star Wars: The Last Jedi character, Rose, however, it seems like Star Wars legend Mark Hamill considers the kooky actress like a second daughter.
Taking to Twitter, Hamill showers the actress with praise, saying that Tran's performance in The Last Jedi was nothing short of brilliant. The actor also calls the Star Wars sequel trilogy newbie his second daughter.

Hamill's comments come after Star Wars fans showered Tran with a wave of criticism. TheStar Wars fanbase might have a lot of different things to say about The Force Awakens sequel, however, it seems like one of the most common complaints from those for and against TheLast Jedi is Rose's arc with Finn. A lot of those who've seen The Last Jedi don't really understand the necessity of Finn's adventure with Rose, though Rian Johnson placed the arc to help Finn find his resolve to take a stand and fight the First Order alongside the Resistance.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently screening in cinemas.
