Mandalorian Helmets Burned In New Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Promo Art

The Ghost Crew certainly has had one hell of a ride in season 3 of Star Wars Rebels. The two-part Zero Hour season finale dealt a heavy blow on the Rebellion and after Thrawn's meticulously planned attack, fans wonder what's next for the Ezra and the rest of the team in the next season of the series.

While many hope and expect Rebels to push closer towards the events of A New Hope, it seems like the series will hit a few bleak episodes as it proceeds with the new season.

Steven Melching, the Star Wars Rebels story writer and editor responsible for Twin Suns, Double Agent Droid, Secret Cargo and Part 1 and 2 of Zero Hour has shared a photo from season 4 of the series, and thing look pretty grim.

In the image we get to see a cluster of burnt Mandolorian helmets scattered on the ground against a smoky backdrop indicating a dark season for the Rebels. Melching doesn't offer much information on the image aside from the fact that it comes from season 4, however we really do hope that Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni gives more detail on the image as he and a few special guests bring the season 4 sneak peek to Star Wars Celebration Orlando during a panel on April 15.

Star Wars Celebration Orlando will be held at the Orange County Convention Center from April 13-16.
