Magic: The Gathering Masters 25 Might Have Another Issue, Other than Randomization

Update: A new video showed a London store opening 8 boxes of Masters 25 and there were no issues.

Just in case you haven't heard, some people online are claiming that they got Magic: The GatheringMasters 25 boxes with identical rares and mythic rares. Rudy from Alpha Investments revealed the issue during a recent box-opening video. The compilation designed to celebrate 25 years of Magic's history will finally be released this Friday but some people in the MTG community are already worried about the randomization problem. However, that's not the only issue players have seen so far.

Redditor Crobledopr shared a photo revealing cards with ink blots on them. As you can see in the photo below, the cards look dirty. Even people who collect cards with interesting misprints might be upset if they got these. The Redditor said that the local game shop claimed that 50 cards in the case (4 booster boxes in Masters sets) had this issue

Ink blotting fairly prevalent in M25 boxes

Masters 25 will have 249 cards. Its MSRP price for each booster pack is $9.99. It will be available on March 16, 2018, in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese languages.
