Magic: The Gathering Aether Revolt Game Day Playmat and Cards Leaked

The spoilers for the next Magic: The Gathering set, Aether Revolt, haven't started yet, but a Redditor shared an image of the expansion's Game Day championship playmat along with a few cards. The incredible art on the playmat features the Planeswalker Ajani looking mighty in front of what seems to be sunset. We also see four new cards from Aether Revolt: Quicksmith Rebel, Scrap Trawler, Trophy Mage, and Yahenni's Expertise. Check out the full image below:

It's good to see Yahenni's Expertise made. We really need a Languish-like card in a Blue-White Flash-dominated Standard format. Sure, it doesn't kill 4+ toughness creatures like Languish does, but it lets you cast any card with converted mana cost 3 or less.

Aether Revolt, the second set of the Kaladesh block, will launch on January 20, 2017. Pre-release events will take place on January 14-15. Game Day will be held on February 11-12. Pro Tour will be in Dublin, Ireland.
