Lupito Nyong'o Says She Loves Keeping Star Wars Secrets

With the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi approaching at the end of this year, fans are eager to devour the latest rumors and spoilers for the highly-anticipated sequel, and of course, Lucasfilm is taking extreme measures to avoid them from leaking online, and the cast of Star Wars are being tight-lip about The Last Jedi's details.

Of course, Lupita Nyong'o is great at keeping the franchise's secrets. The Oscar-winning actress recently discussed her involvement with Star Wars, and said that she loved not having to reveal details about the upcoming films.

Nyong'o told Cinemablend that she liked keeping secrets and not having to to share them to anyone.

"I love shutting up. I love it. I love the fact that I don't have to talk about Star Wars," she said.

"It's so, you know, I feel, I feel like I have a secret that everybody else wants to know about. That's powerful. I love it. I feel a little sad every time more information is revealed."

It sounds like Nyong'o knows a lot of secrets about her character. After all, she's playing a character who's in a powerful position in the Star Wars universe, and it's likely that he's keeping some key secrets about the future of the new trilogy. Nyon'go plays Maz Kanata, a wise and old alien who has a mysterious connection with The Force. Her character could potentially play an important role in Rey's character.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released in theaters on December 15, 2017.
