Luke’s Alien Companions in Ahch-To Are Much Larger Than Expected

Last month, Rian Johnson discussed a whole lot of things about Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Vanity Fair's 40thStar Wars Anniversary cover story. Not only did the director talk about Laura Dern and Benecio Del Toro's characters in the film, he also discussed the new planets and creatures that the highly anticipated sequel trilogy installment would feature.

Confirming that Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker is actually living with "an indigenous race of caretaker creatures" that are "not Ewoks," Johnson reveals that the Jedi is not alone in Ahch-To. Now, Star Wars News Net reveals that they have been able to get a look at this "not Ewoks" and though they weren't able to feature the photos they took of the picture, they did get an artist to recreate Luke's companions.

Check the image down below:

The new picture seems to be a whole lot bigger compared to the one previously shared on the internet, however despite its 3 meter size; its rounded shape does seem to suggest a non-threatening type of creature without that much mobility.

Not only that, but it does look a lot less cuter than what fans previously imagined. Oh well, without any official confirmation on the alien's look, we'll probably just have to wait and see how these "not Ewoks" turn out in The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas on December 15, 2017.
