Lucasfilm Confirmed For D23; Han Solo Official Title Reveal Rumored For Event

While a lot of attention was focused on the arrival of The Last Jedi teaser trailer during the 2017 Star Wars Celebration at Orlando earlier this month, fans couldn't help but noticed that Lucasfilm had left out announcements on the next Star Wars spinoff, the untitled Han Solo.

The rumors that Han Solo announcements would be minimum during Celebration were proven true, and now, with Lucasfilm heading to D23 with Disney word has it that the spinoff film will finally be given the spotlight with announcements that include the film's official title.

The schedule for the 2017 D23 convention was just posted on the event's official website yesterday and Lucasfilm's attendance has been confirmed at "The Walt Disney Studios Live-Action Films" Panel on Saturday, July 15.

The details of the panel reads:

"The wonderful worlds of Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm come together to showcase their exciting slate of upcoming films. At D23 Expo 2015, we got our first glimpses at Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Beauty and the Beast, Doctor Strange, and more fan favorites… We can't wait to see what's on deck for this year's presentation!"

Though the description seems to be teasing another roll of preview footage for The Last Jedi, the current silence on Han Solo has also been springing out rumors of Lucasfilm making announcements about the spinoff during the event. It's very likely that the studio will finally unveil Han Solo's official title during the event and perhaps the studio might preview some footage and stills as well.

Han Solo is currently in production and is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on May 25, 2018.
