Loki Is ‘Not Impressed’ With Doctor Strange In Thor: Ragnarok

Tom Hiddleston fans will be seeing him in Kong: Skull Island in less than a month, but Hiddleston will also be reprising his role as Loki in November's Thor: Ragnarok. The movie will have the presence of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as well, and Hiddleston talks about the Sorcerer Supreme and how his god of mischief is apparently unimpressed by his magical prowess.

In an interview with IGN, Hiddleston explains, "I think he probably dismisses Strange. Yes, his sorcery is very impressive, but Loki's been doing that for centuries so who cares." So far, fans have only seen Loki cast illusions onscreen, but maybe Ragnarok will have him pulling something else from under his sleeve.

Hiddleston also talks about Cate Blanchett's character Hela and how Loki will relate to her in the film. "Hela is a different beast and full of surprises," he says, "[She] actually might have been someone with whom at one time he could've gotten along, but the circumstances have changed."

By the looks of it, Loki will be another reluctant ally for Thor in Ragnarok, and the two brothers will have to band together to stop an evil threat from destroying Asgard. Loki won't be the only person in Thor's side though, as the God of Thunder will also have help from Doctor Strange and The Incredible Hulk.

In Marvel Studios' "Thor: Ragnarok," Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok - the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization - at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger - the Incredible Hulk!

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters Nov. 3.
