Logan took the world by storm when it released earlier this year, receiving positive reviews from critics and audiences with many calling the film one of the best superhero movies of all time. James Mangold's gritty R-rated Wolverine solo became an instant hit amongst fans who reveled in the emotional depth and the bloody action sequences of the movie.

Ever since Fox announced the release date of the black and white Logan Noir last month, a lot of clamor has been building up over the film's home release and now it seems like the studio finally has a release date for the digital release of Hugh Jackman's swan song.

Apparently the film will be made available on Digital HD the same time the black-and-white Logan hits theaters in the US on May 16. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the special features of the disc are as follows:

Logan Noir: a black-and-white version of the film

— Audio commentary by director James Mangold.

—Deleted scenes with optional audio commentary by Mangold (Blu-ray only)

— Making Logan — behind-the-scenes documentary (Blu-ray only)

Fox is definitely packing in the good stuff for fans by including Logan Noir in with the home release of the movie.

Unfortunately, it seems like they'll have to wait a little bit longer to get those deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes documentary because Logan gets its 4K, Ultra HD and Blu-Ray release around the end of the month on May 23.
