Logan Director Has Already Talked To Fox About Having X-23 Return

Though all eyes were on Hugh Jackman as he played his swan song as Wolverine in James Mangold's R-Rated comicbook movie, Wolverine, a lot of fans were also very impressed by Dafne Keen's performance as Laura Kinney.

The young child actor was ferocious and emotionally flexible as X-23, wowing audiences with her intensity and her raw delivery on the big screen. Now everyone's hoping to see more of Keene's Spanish-speaking mutant, and it seems like they just might get more of her.

Speaking at a Q&A session during the big screen presentation of Logan Noir by Alamo Drafthouse and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment (via Coming Soon), Mangold openly responds to questions regarding the return of Laura Kinney.

"Anything's possible. I've certainly talked to them about it. I even talked to them about it before we made the movie. I thought she was just such a great character, but with what Dafne did, I think that certainly that's possible."

20th Century Fox certainly found a gem in Keen and it would be a waste if the studio had no interest in bringing her back to the big screen. With talent and confidence like that, the studio's bound to make something more out of Keen.

Logan releases on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K on May 23.
