Legends of Tomorrow Casts Star Wars: The Force Awakens Actress For Season 2

The CW has tapped Maisie Richardson-Sellers to play Amaya Jiwe, a.k.a. Vixen in the second season of Legends of Tomorrow, Deadline reports.

The 24-year-old English actress, who previously appeared as Resistance commander Korr Sella, will succeed Mealyn Echikunwoke as a series regular when the show returns on October 13 at 8 PM on the CW. Her character is the grandmother to the Vixen who headlines her own animated series on CW Seed and has showed up on Arrow, Mari McCabe (played by Echikunwoke). Her character will have the same powers as McCabe: tapping into the abilities of animals via her Tantu Totem.

Echikunwoke will still voice Mari McCabe on the animated series.

Legends of Tomorrow will be joined by Arrow, The Flash, and now Supergirl, which makes the transitio from CBS to The CW in Season 2.
