Leaked Alien: Covenant Set Photos Reveal Disturbing Scene

In the past couple of weeks, we've been getting teases and updates about Alien: Covenant from 20th Century Fox and even the film's cast. Among other things, we know that the movie will be "Hard R" and that every version of the Xenomorph will be in it. However, it's only now that we're getting actual photos from the set of the movie.

The latest update didn't come officially from the studio or any of Alien: Covenant's cast and crew, but the photos seem pretty legit considering all the human bodies featured scorched to the bone.

The filming of Alien: Covenant is currently taking place in Sydney, Australia and it appears that somebody was able to get that information and began taking photos of the set, revealing some surprisingly is creepy scenes ahead.

The images show extreme imagery of scorched human bodies looking like they were burned alive. It was also noted that the humans are being attacked by the aliens. Further details about these photos remain unknown, but from the looks of it, this scene has that classic, horrifying Alien trademark right there.

I can only imagine the excitement these leaked photos will bring to fans.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS — and connects directly to Scott's 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Alien: Covenant is slated for release on August 4, 2017. The movie stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Jussie Smollett, and Danny McBride.
