Latest Star Wars Battlefront II Update Unlocks All Heroes and Ships

EA and DICE have released the latest update to Star Wars Battlefront II. This update might be the most popular one to date, as it will not only fix multiplayer progression so it won't rely on a pay-to-win strategy anymore but it also unlocks all of the heroes and their ships.

A common complaint from the beta days was the fact that heroes cost too much to unlock. While their currency price was eventually lowered, it took numerous fan complaints to do so. That also didn't fix the game's loot box system, even after EA temporarily removed in-game purchases, making grinding more complicated than it should be.

Basically, Battlefront II was troubled and that's putting it lightly.

Still, with this update fans might be able to warm up to the game better. Having all of the characters available from the get-go should be nice and having more natural multiplayer progression will please current players who were frustrated with the Star Card system.

Granted, the game should have launched like this but there's no point crying over spilled milk.

Here is hoping EA learns from their mistakes, especially if Disney and Lucasfilm let the company keep the Star Wars license after.
