Latest Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Trailer Will Make Fans Weep For Their Wallets

The latest trailer for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon shows that Game Freak is going all out for the final mainline 3DS games. And by all out, we mean ALL OUT, because the developers are throwing everything they can into these two games, including the kitchen sink. Simply put, this is going to be the most jam-packed Pokemon game ever made.

Fans might be fooled a bit since the video's name only shows the newly incarnated Team Rocket, now rebranded as Team Rainbow Rocket. It looks like Giovanni has gone back to the dark side since he is leading the group and is seen challenging the player with a Mewtwo. The video also reveals that players will be fighting every major villain from the past 20 years of Pokemon games, which is insane.

What's really going to get fans talking is the fact that every legendary Pokemon ever made will be in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Every. Single. One. All the legendaries from Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black, White, Black 2, White 2, X, and Y are going to be in this game. That is a lot of Pokemon to catch, all of which will be done via the game's new wormholes that take players to different worlds, which was mentioned in previous reports.

As if that wasn't enough, the trailer also reveals that there will be different Pokemon that can be caught via the game's island scan. We get to see Charmander, Grovyle, and Greninja via this scanner, so expect to see a lot of fan favorites via this feature.

Fans of the original Sun and Moon will also be happy to know that they can get Totem Pokemon. Well, Totem-sized Pokemon. If players collect enough Totem stickers in Alola, they can get giant versions that are similar to the Totem Pokemon players battled in the Island Trials. Big versions of Gumshoos and Lurantis were shown off.

There's also a place called Battle Agency, where players can get rare items and rent powerful Pokemon. It's okay. It exists.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon come to game shops on November 14. These will be the last mainline 3DS Pokemon games and it looks like Game Freak are making them count. We might as well burn our vanilla copies of Sun and Moon.
