Lando Calrissian: Not Done in Star Wars Movie Universe

We haven't seen the last of Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars movie universe.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, Lawrence Kasdan, the screenwriter for both The Empire Strikes Back and The Force Awakens, hinted the return of the smooth-talking gambler.

But he pointed out that Lando won't be in The Force Awakens. That makes sense since Billy Dee Williams, the actor who portrayed Lando, has not been confirmed to be in J.J. Abrams' film. Though he did say that we'll see Lando in the future.

"Right now, there's no Lando Calrissian in this movie," he said. "But Lando I don't think is finished in any way, shape, or form."

That's great to know that Lando is still somewhere in the galaxy far, far away. Williams will most likely reprise his role in a future Star Wars film. Most recently, he reprised his role for the character's voice in Star Wars: Rebels.
