Kuroko no Basuke Anime Movie Adds Voice Actors for Gold & Silver

Two veteran seiyuus are joining the cast of Gekijoban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game. The film adaptation welcomes in Hikaru Midorikawa and Tetsu Inada for the film adaptation.

Midorikawa-san will lend his voice to Nash Gold Jr., the Jabberwock team point guard. Tetsu Inada will be the voice actor for Jabberwock center Jason Silver, Anime News Network reported.

The two will pretty much be the antagonist that will try to hinder the Generation of Miracles boys and Kagami from attaining certain victory on the court.

Midorikawa-san seems like a surprising voice for Nash. Or perhaps I'm envisioning someone with a lower voice register. I just have to note that Midorikawa-san has portrayed a lead role in Slamdunk, where he was Rukawa Kaeda, and he did show that he can do a lower register voice role, so we may expect something similar to that.

Apart from this, there's also a new visual showcasing the six protagonists and the two terrorists for the message. Fans can expect the old cast to return for the project, while the production cast will also be returning for what is supposed to be the sequel to the TV series.

Kuroko no Basuke The Last Game movie will be out in Japan on March 18. In the meantime, the franchise is looking at the run for the third film, Winter Cup Compilation, which is slated to run in Japan until Dec. 16.
