Kevin Feige Talks About The Biggest Easter Egg In Thor: Ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok is making its big debut in a couple of weeks, and Marvel's been busy marketing Taika Waititi's highly anticipated superhero space buddy movie.

Not only has the studio been dropping Ragnarok TV spots left and right, but the cast and crew have been busy making the marketing rounds and attending interviews. In one of these junket press conferences for Marvel's last film of the year (via Screen Rant), Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige decided to talk about his Easter Eggs in the final Thor installment.

The film has a lot of room for pretty fun Easter Eggs, and according to the Marvel big-wig, his favorite is the palace side carved with the heads of Sakaar's different gladiatorial champions.

"There might be some things in the trash piles. I mean, the biggest – the biggest Easter eggs are on the side of the Sakaran Palace – right, Taika? There are – there are previous Grandmaster champions that we see, as one for Hulk is being constructed, and those are all sort of Easter eggs for the deeper comic universe – that may or may not ever show up in the cinematic universe, but we thought it'd be fun to celebrate."

Sure Feige might not have specified who the faces on the building belonged to, but ever since the image of the sculptures came up in Ragnarok's promo videos, fans have started naming the Easter Egg characters with Beta Ray Bill on the top left, Ares on the top right, Bi-Beast at the bottom right, and then Man Thing on the very top.

Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas December 15, 2017.
