Kevin Feige Eager to Bring Back [SPOILER] to the MCU

[SPOILERS FOR ANT-MAN AND THE WASP]

With Ant-Man and the Wasp's antagonist Ghost, we actually get to see something pretty rare—an MCU villain surviving the end of the movie. With Ghost's fate up in the air by the end of the film, Marvel head Kevin Feige opens up about bringing her back at some point in the future.

Feige tells Birth.Movies.Death.:

"In this case, the story was always – spoiler! – to keep her around. This was not the story of defeating a villain and everybody cheering. This is a different kind of villain story. When and where – in the tag, he mentions "his new Ghost friend" – is something we'll see. But there's nothing better than struggling over the decision about what characters to bring into a movie, casting those characters, writing and putting them together in a way that works in the movie, and then have audiences go "we love them, when are we going to see them again?" Shuri for sure is a great example of that. So with Ghost it is, step one: complete. As for step two, we'll see where we go with that."

If you've seen the movie, Ghost actually won't come out as the ‘villain' but more of someone with her own agenda. Unlike Ant-Man's first villain Darren Cross, Ghost (or Ava) was just really out to save herself from dying. It was amazing that they even got Bill Foster to reveal that he was helping her.

With Janet Van Dyne becoming the one to help Ghost stabilize herself, no doubt that she will become more of an ally in the future. Let's hope she does something useful come the third Ant-Man movie.
