Kelly Marie Tran Narrates The Audiobook For Star Wars The Last Jedi: Cobalt Squadron

Star Wars: The Last Jedi introduced us to new character Rose who was wonderfully played by Kelly Marie Tran. The book Cobalt Squadron, which is set before the events of The Last Jedi, focuses on a story which includes Rose's sister Paige, and Tran is the one providing her voice for the audio book.

Here's the publisher's summary:

From New York Times best-selling author Elizabeth Wein (Code Name Verity, Rose Under Fire), this middle-grade novel is all about the pilots and technicians of the Resistance's very own Cobalt Squadron. New characters from The Last Jedi, including mechanic Rose Tico and her gunner sister Paige, get the chance to shine in this hardcover adventure. Featuring illustrations by Phil Noto (X-23, Black Widow), Cobalt Squadron goes on sale December 15 from Disney Lucasfilm Press.

With full stories behind extra characters in the movie, I'm excited to know more about Resistance heroes like Paige. She went off like a rock star in The Last Jedi, and I'd like to explore more of her and the Cobalt Squadron in their adventures.

May favorite characters from the original trilogy are X-Wing pilots like Biggs Darklighter and Jek Porkins, and it's cool to see they plan on expanding the roles of other characters with these books. Maybe we can be even looking at an anthology movie about Resistance fighters down the line a la Rogue One?

The audiobook is available on penguinrandomhouseaudio.com, but you can also check out a short audio clip here.

Besides all that, you can check out Rose and Paige in Star Wars: The Last Jedi now in theaters.
