Karen Gillan Shares Update on Filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Last time we saw Karen Gillan in the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, she appeared to be flying. Now, the Scottish Doctor Who star, who will be reprising her role as Nebula, has taken it to Twitter to give us an update:

Fans of Marvel's franchise know that Nebula is the on-screen sister of Zoe Saldana's Gamorra, the rival of Chris Pratt's Peter Quill. Since February, Gillan has been sharing photos from the set of the film. Back in November, Gillan said that she thinks that her character's sisterly relationship with Gamora will be explored more in James Gunn's sequel. The last time, we saw Gamora, she fell from the sky but it wasn't shown if she survived. In last year's Dragon-Con, she gave some hints that her character would be returning, saying that she would no longer need to shave her head as she did for the first Guardians of the Galaxy film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to release in theaters on May 5, 2017.
